Peytrah Fischer

Remedial Massage Therapist

Peytrah is a German trained physiotherapist with more than 20 years experience and additional training in Craniosacral, Visceral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology and Mikrokinesi Therapy ( Courses A,B,C).

Her passion is to assist the self healing abilities of your body to find its own new equilibrium, so you feel realigned and centred. Simply yourself again. Craniosakral work is a therapy using gentle touch or manipulation to a patient’s scull, spine and pelvis or any other part of the body. This manipulation regulates the flow of cerebrospinal fluid and aids in ‘primary respiration’ to relieve the symptoms of stress or tensin. This gentle approach and unwiring of  tension can help free neck restrictions, ease headaches and improve pelvic, lumbar, hip and shoulder mobility. Visceral therapy releases tension in the abdomen, often hosting stress or scars and consequently contributing to issues such as bloating and gut disharmony prevalent in our modern lives. This bodywork is practised with comfortable clothing.

Mikrokinesi Therapy

In this gentle therapy the basics of homeopathy are applied manually: through delicate touch the body is reminded of unhealed injuries and a finalising self-healing is initiated. This causal approach reaches irritation and trauma even if they are not remembered consciously.

Because the aim of the therapy is not to ease symptoms but to delete debilitating information, the success, which is usually achieved within two to four one-hour sessions, is lasting. The gentleness of applied manipulations makes Microkinesitherapy a method without danger or contraindications. Patients remain fully dressed during treatments.

Microkinesitherapy is especially suitable for acute injuries, pain, exhaustion,  disorders of the musculoskeletal system and vegetative disorders.  Microkinesitherapy is to be considered complementary to professional medical or psychological treatment and not a replacement.

This form of therapy has been developed and scientifically tested by the French physiotherapists and osteopaths Daniel Grosjean and Patrice Benini in collaboration with embryologists, physicists and biologists.

During her work with clients of all walks of life Peytrah has found a unique  style of  bodywork for you to find a new way of wellbeing and body consciousness assisting you in all daily life activities and thus  more physiological movement with greater ease and grace.

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” – AnaïsNin
